Worry says what?

"Worry's songs tie my tummy up in knots, and the things he says make my heart beat very fast. Sometimes he speaks in a whisper, and other times his voice gets so loud

I can't hear anything else." (Worry Says What? by Allison Edwards)

Offering a glimpse into the way that worry affects children, award-winning author, Allison Edwards and illustrator, Ayesha L. Rubio, offer a great tool that children can use to help quiet their fears. Kids have a number of worries throughout childhood. The author addresses the issue that “children believe the worries to be true”. In the book, the author gives strategies that parents and teachers can use to help children understand and conquer their own Worry and remind them of what they are able to achieve.
