'Dear Earth . . . From Your Friends in Room 5' written by Erin Dealey and illustrated by Luisa Uribe, the kids in Room 5 are thankful for all Earth gives to them. They write a thank-you letter and ask how they can help out and do their part.
Believe it or not, Earth writes back. Earth gives the kids in Room 5 tips and hints on how to be an Earth Hero. Each month throughout the year, the students write to Earth and each month Earth responds with gentle reminders on how we all can make a difference in saving our planet.
